WILL J CARMAN
Cinematographer
Will’s experience in shooting music videos and BBC’s ‘Later With Jools Holland’ made him the perfect cinematographer for this film where the music sequences needed to convey both emotional resonance and technical precision.
He perfectly captured the nostalgia feel of the story whilst still allowing it to scale up as the film reached its musical climax.
MARY DODDS
Production Designer
Mary has been working on the Warner Brothers lots in UK and New Zealand in recent times, and we were thrilled to have her on this project to fulfil the complex production design.
This relied heavily on geniune props from the 1980s to create a timeless feeling to the film.
JENNY ANDERTON
Costume Designer
We were thrilled when Jenny came onboard because we needed a designer who could create a natural yet prominent set of costumes – that wouldn’t feel out of place in the 80s, 90s or even now.
The strong colour pallete was vital to the look of the film. Her previous experience on films such as ‘Brighton’ and ‘Bolan’s Shoes’ were ideal for the role.

JASON HAVARD
Songwriter / Producer
Jason composed the vast majority of the songs for the film, having initially been asked to only write three!
He also provided vital assistance as Executive Producer.

NICK DOYNE-DITMAS & SÖNKE PRIGGE
Songwriters
Nick and Bafta-winning Sönke, alongside Zoe Gilmour wrote the songs for our mythical 80s band – NEW TOWN SCENE. Nick was recording back then and some of those songs made it into the film.

JOHN RIVERS
Music Production
John is legendary in the music industry. Since recording The Specials’ ‘Ghost Town’ he has gone on to work with just about everyone in the business.
We recorded over 40 tracks with him for the film and loved every minutes of it.
